Elder Wayne B. Belton
President
After having spent the first twenty - eight years of his life on the wrong side of Salvation; Wayne on November 18, 1976, in a noon day prayer service at Mount Pisgah
U.H.C. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, received JESUS CHRIST as his LORD and Savior. Having been saved
from a life of sin and degradation; Wayne who had been
in and out of various penal institutions and rehabilitation centers (none of which could free him from the liar and thief he was, nor the drugs and alcohol he loved), was set free by the Son of the Living GOD. Wayne is a testimony to GOD’s amazing grace, and an answer to years and years of the fervent prayers of his Mother, Doris Muriel Belton.
Wayne’s bedrock scripture is: 2 Corinthians 5:17; "Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new".
Wayne’s theme song is:
"Something beautiful, something good;
All of my confusion, GOD understood.
All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife;
But, GOD made something beautiful out of my life."
And indeed GOD has done just that. On February 2, 1980, in front of GOD and many witnesses Wayne had the blessed privilege of becoming the husband of Darlene Hayes. A very strong and beautiful woman who he recognizes as his very own Ephesians 3:20 (exceeding abundantly above all he had asked or even thought to ask). GOD has blessed them with three beautiful daughters, Dannielle, Christian, and Pearline; and one grandson Josiah, and one granddaughter Destiny. Wayne received ministerial training through such great men as Elder Harold B. Hayes Sr.; the former Senior Pastor of Mount Pisgah U.H.C. and President of the U.H.C. General Missionary Department; and Albert J. Gengenbach, Missionary to South America and author of the book “Your River Must Flow”. Wayne attended Berean School of the Bible and Manna Bible Institute, where his studies included New Testament Greek. Wayne is also a certified Minister of Counseling and Prayer through the First United Methodist Church of Tulsa Oklahoma.
In 1989 at the Convocation of the United Holy Church of America, Wayne was licensed by the Board of Presbytery as an Evangelist. And in 1994 he received his Ordination Credentials from the same Board.
Wayne’s ministry transcends denomination. He has served as Pastor in both a Methodist and a Non-Denominational Church. He has served as the Christian and Moral Leadership Instructor for Hope Christian Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has preached in the prisons of Pennsylvania and at the
Pentagon of Washington D.C.
Wayne currently serves as the Pastor of Mount Pisgah Christian Worship Center. Wayne is the President and Co-Founder of Belton Christian Ministries (Formerly known as Belton Full Gospel Team).
GOD has called Wayne to “Awaken People to their GOD given purpose and
Divine destiny”. To that degree Wayne is an information entrepreneur; offering
seminars in such areas as “Developing Manhood, Marital Enhancement, and
Achieving Goals and Objectives. Wayne is the author of “7 Giant Steps to
Achieving Your Destiny” and “R – U – Really the Man”.
GOD has gifted Wayne in understanding and stimulating human potential; and chosen
to use him to confront, challenge, and cause thought and growth to all people everywhere.
Wayne’s earnest pursuit is to one day being able to proclaim “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith”; and hear GOD say “Well done thy good and faithful servant.
Wayne desires your prayer, encouragement, and support, in order that he comes
not short of that pursuit.
